Tips on getting grain carts ready for harvest

Farmers will soon be getting their combines ready for the harvest season, and Justin Render, senior product specialist for Kinze Manufacturing, notes that it’s also important to perform basic maintenance on grain carts.
“The combine always gets a pretty good comb-through before the beginning of the harvest season because there’s so many moving parts,” Render said. “Grain carts are simpler, so it doesn’t take that long to do a little bit of preventative maintenance that can help avoid downtime and increase efficiency all the way through harvest.”
